Americas Got Talent Winner Neal E. Boyd to Headline Live Stage Spectacular October 17th at the Las Vegas MGM Grand Garden Arena

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 2, 2008) – Neal E. Boyd, the America’s Got Talent Season 3 winner, has earned the coveted headlining slot for the show’s spectacular live debut stage version, for one night only on Friday, October 17th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. America’s Got Talent, the #1 rated show on television, announced opera singer Neal E. Boyd of Silkeston, MO as its Season 3 champion during the show’s spectacular season finale last night, October 1st. America’s Got Talent Live, promoted by AEG Live, will also feature Boyd’s fellow dynamic Top 5 Season 3 finalists, as well as multi-talented Season 2 champion Terry Fator, host Jerry Springer and additional Top 40 favorite contestants from the hit show.

Along with Season 3 winner Neal E. Boyd, the show’s Top 5 performers include Nuttin But Strings, a hip-hop violin duo comprised of brothers Damien and Tourie Escobar from Jamaica Queens, NY; Queen Emily, a soul singer from Stockton, CA; Donald Braswell, a singer from San Antonio, TX; and Eli Mattson, a 26-year-old pianist-singer from Chicago, IL. Additional performances will be featured at America’s Got Talent Live from Top 40 contestants and fan favorites Joseph Hall, the 23-year-old Elvis Presley impersonator from Lincoln, NB; Jonathan Burkin, the 18-year-old baton twirling sensation from Clyde, Ohio; and 70-year-old Paul Salos, the uncanny Frank Sinatra impersonator from Dallas, TX.

The show’s Season 2 winner Terry Fator will return to Las Vegas next year, when the performer will become the newest headliner at the Mirage, helming the 1,265-seat Terry Fator Theatre for five shows a week. The five-year residency, with an option for an additional five years, starts Valentine’s Day, Saturday, February 14, 2009.
