NEW YORK, NY & LOS ANGELES, CA (Sept. 13, 2010) – Three-time GRAMMY Award-winning A&M/Octone Records group Maroon 5 is giving their “Maroon 5 Radio” listeners first grabs on their long awaited third studio album. A.P.E. Radio, which provided fans the debut taste of Christina Aguilera’s Bionic in June, is pleased to host the worldwide premiere of Maroon 5’s HANDS ALL OVER. Beginning at 12:01 am on Tuesday, September 14 through Monday, September 20 at 11:59 pm, HANDS ALL OVER will repeat throughout each programming day, interspersed with a wealth of exciting content recorded especially for the occasion.
On July 27th, “Maroon 5 Radio” hit the digital airwaves with a bang – a live concert broadcast entitled “Fuse Presents: Maroon 5 Live from the Beacon Theatre” presented by Coca-Cola. Following the worldwide premiere of HANDS ALL OVER, listeners can continue tuning into the station to experience exclusive audio that the band has recorded, along with playlists of some of the band’s favorite songs. Hands All Over, is scheduled for release on Tuesday, September 21st from A&M/Octone. Produced by rock studio legend Robert John “Mutt” Lange-well-known for his work with AC/DC, Def Leppard, The Cars and more-the album is a hybrid of rock, pop, funk and R&B. The album’s first single “Misery” was released on June 22nd, and hailed by Billboard Magazine as, “Sure to be one of this summer’s radio staples. ‘Misery’ is anything but.” The single is currently #10 on the Top 40 chart and #2 on the Hot AC chart, with a total audience of nearly 60 million. On Friday, July 30th, Maroon 5 began their world tour, which features special guests including Guster, Owl City, Kris Allen, One Republic, Ry Cuming, VV Brown, and Bruno Mars – all varying by dates.
