  • § 2008 (April 19, 2008): +0.4%

Vinyl album sales increased 217% vs prior week at independent record stores.

o 2013 is the most successful Record Store Day for vinyl.

o Vinyl LPs accounted for 37% of all album sales (CD, LP, other album formats) at Independent record stores this week.

o 82% of all Vinyl LPs sold this week were sold at Independent record stores.
