Los Angeles, CA (June 12, 2013) – On Monday, June 17, a global online viewing party will occur to celebrate the eagerly anticipated DVD and CD release of Sublime’s 3-Ring Circus: Live at the Palace – October 21, 1995. This concert catches the trio of late frontman / guitarist / songwriter Bradley Nowell, bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh in top form before a packed house at the legendary Hollywood, CA venue.  Sublime fans can gather with other music-lovers from all over the world to watch the band tear through 27 songs, including its hits “Date Rape,” “Badfish,” and “40 Oz To Freedom,” as well as covers of classic songs that reflect the band’s broad stylistic range of influences (“54-46 Was My Number” by Toots & the Maytals, “House of Suffering” by Bad Brains, and the Grateful Dead’s “Scarlet Begonias”).

The classic concert will be broadcast live on Facebook to over 1 billion Facebook users and on sublimelbc.com. For $1.99 viewers can watch, listen and interact together on facebook.com/sublime and sublimelbc.com starting at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET (visit Milyoni for international time listings).  The $1.99 fee will earn viewers a discount on music and merchandise purchases on the Sublime store. This special online broadcast is part of Milyoni and Universal Music Enterprises’ “Legends in the Cloud” series.  Using Milyoni’s Social Video Platform, music enthusiasts will enjoy a unique and socially interactive experience with millions of Sublime fans. Users will be able to live chat and connect with other viewers as well as engage with time-released Social Widgets, such as images, trivia, polls, and video clips.

Shot by Gary Davis in his “Rock-Steadi-Cam” style – a single camera that’s fully involved in the concert, giving the viewer a first-person perspective of what it’s like to be on-stage with the band, 3-Ring Circus: Live at the Palace – October 21, 1995, contains more than 78 minutes of the band’s performance and on-stage antics on full display in a sold-out setting. The concert’s sound was remastered and remixed from the live audio culled from the original “warts n’ all” mono source soundboard mix, camera audio and audience mic.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the formation of Sublime, a band that earned legions of devoted fans during a vital career that inspired countless other artists. Sublime performed their first official show on July 4, 1988 (sometimes infamously referred to as the “Peninsula Riot”) in Long Beach, CA and went on to release one of the most publicly adored and critically acclaimed hit albums of the 1990’s.

To be released by UMe, Geffen, Gasoline Alley and Skunk Records 3-Ring Circus: Live at the Palace – October 21, 1995 will be available in three package configurations. The DVD package will contain the concert video, which is newly edited using Hi-8 video and recently discovered 16mm and Super 8 film footage; a CD version will contain the live concert audio; and a 2DVD+CD Deluxe package will feature the audio and video, the original Hi-8 Palace concert video (unedited), an exclusive poster and laminated backstage pass housed in an eco-friendly 8-panel softpak, as well as an additional bonus concert video of Sublime live at the Las Palmas Theater (from February 17, 1995).
