Fathom Events and Drum Corps International (DCI) Showcase Top Competitive Drum Corps Performances from Marching Music’s Major League™ in Select U.S. Cinemas on June 17 Only
DENVER – April 20, 2015 – Six of Drum Corps International’s elite teams will kick-off Marching Music’s Major League™ 2015 season with “Drum Corps at the Movies: 2015 DCI Tour Premiere” coming to select U.S. cinemas nationwide on Wednesday, June 17 at 8:30 p.m. ET/ 7:30 p.m. CT/ 6:30 p.m. MT/ 5:30 p.m. PT. For the first time in the event’s five year history it will be presented LIVE in theaters from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN, and will showcase DCI’s top marching music ensembles for its season-opening competition. This year’s event will again feature performances from some of nation’s fiercest competitors–Blue Stars (La Crosse, Wis.), Bluecoats (Canton, Ohio), Carolina Crown (Ft. Mill, S.C.), Madison Scouts (Madison, Wis.), The Cadets (Allentown, Pa.), and The Cavaliers (Rosemont, Ill.)–as they compete for top honors in the first of over 100 competitions in more than 35 states on DCI’s 53-day summer tour.
