Ed Sheeran has spent the last five years conquering the world with his succinct, melodic, utterly personal, yet hugely ambitious music. Ed’s debut album ‘+’ (pronounced ‘plus’) saw its U.S. release on 2012 and went on to earn platinum status with sales exceeding 1 million copies stateside. After winning two prestigious BRIT Awards (British Breakthrough Act and British Male) and three GRAMMY Award nominations – including nods for Song of the Year and Best New Artist – Ed embarked on back-to-back, sold-out tours of North America, including a trio of headline shows at New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden. Ed’s second album ‘x’ (pronounced ‘multiply’) was released worldwide in June 2014 and debuted at #1 in 14 countries, including the U.S. and his native UK where it became the biggest and fastest selling album of the year. With three more GRAMMY Award nominations (including Album of the Year), two Ivor Novello Award wins and two further BRIT Award wins later (Best Male Solo Artist and Album of the Year), Ed is currently on a huge sold out world tour, featuring some of his biggest shows to date – the UK leg included three nights at the prestigious Wembley Stadium and his latest US run culminates with his first NFL stadium show at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA, on September 25. His new album has now gone on to sell 10 million copies worldwide so far, with no signs of slowing down any time soon.
