Wah-wah-heavy version of ‘Bridges to Babylon’ track previews new concert doc ‘Olé Olé Olé!: A Trip Across Latin America’
The Rolling Stones document their electrifying 2016 Latin American tour – including the historic March concert in Havana, Cuba – in new concert film Olé Olé Olé!: A Trip Across Latin America, which hits theaters December 12th for one night only. In this exclusive clip, the rock legends perform “Out of Control,” a soulful single from 1998’s Bridges to Babylon, during their February 7th concert at Buenos Aires’ Estadio Único de La Plata.
Before hitting the stage, the band congregates behind a massive curtain, with Keith Richards lighting up a cigarette and laughing with Charlie Watts. During the performance, Ronnie Wood laces the groove with funky wah-wah, as a rabid crowd chants along with Mick Jagger’s wordless vocal hook.
Olé Olé Olé! blends concert footage with behind-the-scenes material. In addition, the screening, co-presented by Eagle Rock Entertainment and Fathom Events, will include an exclusive introduction from the Rolling Stones and two full-length bonus performances from the group’s Argentina show.
Tickets for Olé Olé Olé!: A Trip Across Latin America are on sale now via the Fathom website. In September, the band screened Havana Moon: The Rolling Stones Live in Cuba, which documented their free outdoor concert in Havana on March 25th.
The Rolling Stones recently released an album of blues covers, Blue and Lonesome – their first LP since 2005’s A Bigger Bang.
