Los Angeles, CA (May 15, 2019) – It was announced today that singer, songwriter, actor, author, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and activist Chaka Khan has signed with ICM Partners for worldwide representation in all areas. At ICM, the ten-time GRAMMY® Award winner will be represented by a team of agents led by partner/head of music, Mark Siegel. Chaka Khan is managed by George Fuller, her long-term creative director.

Considered one of the world’s most gifted and celebrated music icons, Khan’s storied career has spanned for nearly five decades. Known for her rare ability to sing in a number of musical genres, including R&B, pop, rock, gospel, country, world music, and classical, she is revered by millions of fans as well as her peers for her timeless, unmatched vocal style and image. During her legendary career, she has released 22 albums and racked up ten No. 1 songs on the Billboard charts, seven RIAA-certified gold singles, and ten RIAA-certified gold and platinum albums.
Still at the height of her astounding vocal powers, Khan continues to create new projects and earn new honors. She released her twelfth studio album, Hello Happiness, in February 2019 with the singles “Like Sugar” and title track “Hello Happiness,” both earning high marks from tastemakers. Khan also made history once again when she was named Grand Marshal of the 2019 Tournament of Roses Parade, making her not only the first African-American Grand Marshal in the traditional New Year’s Day celebration’s 130-year history but the first Grand Marshal to perform during the parade.
In April 2019, Khan, in collaboration with Fuller, launched a full collection of Chaka Khan inspired wigs and hairpieces for the everyday, modern female consumer, powered by Indique Hair.
