November 29, 2021—GRAMMY-Award winning Mexican rock band MANÁ has added an additional two shows to their historical Los Angeles Residency at the Forum! After selling out the first six shows and due to overwhelming demand, two additional shows have been added for July 15^th & July 16^th. MANÁ has promised to continue adding shows as long as their fans will have them! Tickets are on-sale this Friday, December 3^rd starting at 10am at Ticketmaster.com.

Earlier in November, the legendary band announced an unprecedented Los Angeles residency at the Forum with a surprise performance for lucky LA fans. This is the first arena residency to take place in the city of Los Angeles. The once-in-a-lifetime run of shows will kick off on March 18^th and 19^th, April 22^nd and 23^rd, June 24^th and 25^th, and additional shows just added for July 15^th and July 16^th.

The residency at the Forum will be the only place in the US where fans can catch MANÁ live in 2022! A must see for all MANÁ fans, the band will treat audiences to their classic hits, plus songs that they rarely perform live, with surprise special guests delighting at each performance. Every night will be special and different, a residency like no other.

MANÁ is one of the highest selling Latin touring acts of all time. From their first show in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palace in 1993 to their 2019 run at the Forum on the Rayando El Sol Tour, MANÁ has established themselves as a powerhouse in the city. They broke the record as the first and only act to sell out 7 dates at the Forum as part of a single tour, and they broke their own record for all-time sell outs at the Forum with 17 sold out shows since the venue’s reopening.

About MANÁ

Considered the most influential Latin rock band in the world, MANÁ continues to transcend generations with their music. MANÁ – meaning positive energy in Polynesian – began in 1986 when four friends from Guadalajara, Mexico came together to fuse new rock sounds with Latin and Caribbean rhythms. The group includes Fher Olvera as vocalist, guitarist and main composer, Alex González on drums, Sergio Vallín on lead guitar, and Juan Diego Calleros on bass. The group released their first album, Falta Amor in 1990. In 1992, they released ¿Dónde Jugarán los Niños? which sold more than 10 million copies worldwide, becoming the best-selling Spanish-language rock album of all time.

Throughout their career, the band has been a vocal advocate for issues impacting their fans around the globe. Most recently the band joined forces with Dr. Anthony Fauci in support of President Joe Biden’s Month of Action to encourage vaccination among the US Latino population.

MANÁ has 133 Certified Gold Albums, 256 Certified Platinum albums, 4 GRAMMY Awards, 9 Latin GRAMMY Awards, 25 Billboard Latin Music Awards, 15 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, and honors such as the 2018 Latin Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award & 2018 Latin Grammy Person of the Year Award and more recently the 2021 ICONO LATIN BILLBOARD Award.

On November 18th, the band released a remake of “Mariposa Traicionera” featuring Alejandro Fernández at the Latin Grammy’s with a live performance. This song is part of their collaboration project which began in 2019 with Pablo Alborán in “Rayando el Sol”, Sebastian Yatra in “No Ha Parado de Llover” and “Eres Mi Religion” with Joy Huerta, and El Reloj Cucú with 12-year-old Mabel. The project will continue as the band revisits some of their greatest songs, accompanied by renowned and diverse artists.
