BAND GEARING UP FOR JUNE/JULY WARPED TOUR DATES
Los Angeles, CA (June 11, 2013) – NeW bEAt FUNd’s Jeff “BuRNie BAkeR” Laliberte, Shelby “BuTToN” Archer, Michael “SiLkY” Johnson and Paul “SNaPz” Laliberte are proud to announce the Tuesday, June 11th re-release of their “($) CoiNz” EP. Previously available as a 5-song EP, the Red Bull Records group has added the fan favorite “pEAcHeZ” and is making the remastered collection available to fans to download for free at their site, newbeatfund.com, at 4:20 pm PT with a hotbox treat. It will also be available at live shows. Prior to the release on their site, “($) CoiNz” was streamed on Monday, June 10th on purevolume.com.
From the band’s track that put them on KROQ/L.A.’s influential “Locals Only” show —“ScARe Me”— to the carefree stoner tracks “GeT uP” and “CeLibATe CeLEbRiTy,” as well as the mellow, plaintive love ballad “HeLEnA,” the self-produced “($) CoiNz” draws on the energy of the group’s dynamic live show, while incorporating influences from their favorite artists and producers.
Following the release of “($) CoiNz,” BuRNie, BuTToN, SiLkY and SNaPz will hit the road for their most extensive tour to date. Beginning Saturday, June 15, the band will spend the next several weeks traversing the Western U.S. with the perennial punk traveling circus, better known as the Vans Warped Tour (click here for the band’s tour “PSA”).
